Fort Schuyler- Over the years there have been hundreds of reports of ghost sighting around the SUNY Maritime campus, especial around Fort Schuyler, the majority of which remain nothing more than here say. However, for the first time, The Daily Screw, has received unprecedented photographic evidence of the ghosts.

Gerharde Tully, the first person to casually tour Fort Schuyler in the past 40 years reached out to The Daily Screw, on our website and left us two photos and a statement.

“While I was perusing the museum, looking at the model of the old Brooklyn Navy Yard, I heard a rustle and I did not think anything of it at the time. But when I turned to leave there they were! Two ghosts. Just standing there watching me! I took a quick photo before running away. I nearly fainted!”

She was able to take another photo as she exited the building.

Another report comes from the 3/C cadet who was standing pier security watch.

He claims that after opening the gate to allow sections of MUGs onto the pier he turned back to see the two figures casually standing in the booth. Luckily for us here at The Daily Screw, he also was able to obtain photographic evidence.

After thorough investigation, our editors have discovered that the ghosts are most likely to be the graduates of the school’s class of 1874, who have been angered by the new approach to the regiment’s indoctrination.

If you have any more information on the ghosts or other notable event you can reach The Daily Screw editors and reporters at:
